According to Ayurveda, summer or “Pitta Season” can become balanced with appropriate daily routines and practices that help to replenish the system and calm mind and body.

Join Mandi Garrison and Jennie Backstrom for a summer retreat that offers cooling, Pitta-pacifying practices that will help bring you into balance as the sun’s heat increases. Calming breath exercises and meditation will help reset the nervous system. Mindful, slow-paced yoga flows will help you release excess tension and prevent burnout. Learn Ayurvedic practices and routines and treat yourself to essential oil practices that support liver, skin, and nervous system health. Together we will practice letting go, releasing judgment, and cultivating fun and freedom.

Prerequisite:
To receive a Yoga Warriors International™ teacher certificate, you must be a yoga teacher certified at the 200 or 500 hour level. Otherwise, you will receive a "certificate of attendance" stating you have attended the training. If you are presently in a 200 hour training, you can become a certified YWI Yoga teacher within 2 years of taking the training after sending proof of your 200 hour yoga teacher certification to YWI.

“This program is Approved by the National Association of Social Workers (Approval #886630123-1975) for 16 Social Work continuing education contact hours.” Some yoga experience is recommended.

Yoga Teachers can receive 16 hrs of CE credit for this course under YACEP.
